![]() ![]() There is a short between the fusebox and the switch, they worked fine until 2 months ago. The front two power windows won't go down. Some issue with it: The AC doesn't work, cruise control doesn't work. The heat works well, it also has a rear heater and AC unit. I can put it all back together if you want, but I was planning on having the fabric on the side panels recovered. The rear interior section was removed to do the body work, and is only partially installed right now. Seats and carpet are clean with no rips, door panels are in good shape. Mine is still very solid, and could be fixed. This is extremely common with all Centurions, the bondo where the roof seam cracks over time, and they begin rusting. It has some minor surface rust on the roof. The underside still has some rust, I started cleaning and putting POR15 on, but I have not gotten far. The doors and roof still have factory paint. I did not start on body work yet, you can see the welding seams still. I replaced the quarter panels, rocker panels, tailgate, bumpers, part of the floor, and front clip. It has a glass pack, but other than that everything is stock. These were luxury vehicles that you could custom order from a dealer, this one cost around $50,000 when it was new.įourdoorbronco forums is a good Website to check out if you want more info about them. They would cut a truck body and a bronco body in half, and weld them together to build these. There was around 5000 built over the 10 year span, and only a few made in 86. Centurion was the company that made the most of them. If you don't know much about these trucks, they were not made by Ford, they were built by conversion companies from 1986-1996. It still has all of the 95 drive train, and 95 interior. Other than the 80s sheet metal, it is pretty much stock. I have put 1980-1986 quarter panels and a front clip on. I have a 1995 Ford Centurion C150 Four Door Bronco for sale. Even if not, it's still badass as heck.Private or Dealer Listing: Private ListingĬlick on my build thread in my signature for more pictures, and more info about what I did to it. Once that's done, there's every chance this Centurion Bronco could be a real collector's item one day. With 190,000 miles on the clock and nothing more but cosmetic scuffs and dents with no visible rust to deal with, all this truck needs to look sensational again is someone willing to put the TLC into fixing all the bodywork. But let's be real, horsepower figures and zero to 60 times are a bit beside the point with this truck. No word on whether Centurion or anybody else did any modifying under the hood. Dubbed the 351W (Windsor) to not confuse it with the similarly-named but different 351C (Cleveland) engine, the 351W jetted 205 horsepower and 328 lb-ft (445 Nm) of torque in the standard fifth-generation Ford Bronco as it left the factory. Under the hood of this gargantuan truck is a 351-cubic inch (5.8 L) Windsor variant of Ford's much-beloved small block V8. As a tribute to how old-school SUVs used to be built 30 years ago, the Centurian C-150 Bronco is nothing short of a crash course for modern folks so drunk on wimpy little crossovers. It was similar in practice to boutique manufacturers of custom performance cars like Hennessey or Calloway, except with full-sized trucks instead of muscle cars. Customers were expected to purchase the vehicle separately before sending it along to Centurion's facility for the full conversion process to be completed in-house. ![]() Less than 15,000 of these "C-150" and "C-350" Centurion four-door Broncos left its Michigan production facility. From F-150s to Econoline vans and, of course, Broncos, Centurion went the extra mile to take Ford trucks with varying degrees of refinement and build quality and make them places you'd genuinely want to spend a road trip inside. It was Centurion Vehicles of White Pigeon, Michigan, who capitalized on this vacuum in the market by offering fully custom extended bodies and fully-kitted interiors for Ford vans and trucks. You see, before Ford had an SUV for every level in the market segment, the space soon to be occupied by the Expedition in 1997 was rife for the picking in the late 1980s through the mid-1990s. ![]()
